Companies are stepping up to navigate these crosscurrents and amplify performance and the value of their sustainability efforts,&#8221; writes Farient founder and CEO <strong>Robin A. Ferracone<\/strong> in the report&#8217;s introduction.<\/p>\n<p>Among the key takeaways from the 2024 report:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Companies globally continue to tie incentives to their ESG strategies and goals\u2014a trend evident across large-, mid-, and small-cap companies<\/li>\n<li>The climate crisis has led to an urgent need to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, as evidenced by a steep increase in incentives tied to emissions reductions<\/li>\n<li>While most ESG goals are currently benchmarked against internal objectives by companies, relative goals could be on the horizon amidst better comparability and transparency of ESG data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The report features innovative approaches to incentive design in case studies on companies including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.allstate.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Allstate<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dow.com\/en-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dow<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mastercard.us\/en-us.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mastercard<\/a>.
