The City Remuneration Summit 2025

London City’s business, financial services, and governance elite will convene for the annual City & Financial Global Remuneration Summit on 1 May 2025. A noontime panel, led by Farient Partner Stephen Cahill, will examine the impact of the revised “Principles of Remuneration”, published last year by the Investment Association (IA).

Joining Stephen will be IA’s Andrew Ninian, director of Stewardship, Risk, and Tax at the IA and Farient Director David Cohen. Stephen and David have written about the significance of the IA principles to remuneration committees, calling the revisions a positive development to support UK companies as they seek to compete globally for executive talent.

Stephen and David’s article, “Farient’s Top Five Predictions for 2025“, suggests that “bespoke” and “hybrid” remuneration policies will be increasingly discussed in upcoming board meetings as the UK governance environment adapts to ensure sufficient flexibility for companies.
