The article, published in the magazine’s September 21st issue under Briefing, cites Farient Advisors data. Farient’s 2024 research reported that the share of S&P 500 companies that tied CEO compensation to diversity targets peaked in 2022 (at 53%) and dropped in 2023 (to 48%).
