AgendaWeek Webcast – Thinking Outside the Box with Comp Plans

January 18, 2019

On Friday, January 25, AgendaWeek Education will host the webcast, Thinking Outside the Box with Comp Plans. With regulators, watchdogs and shareholders examining compensation plans closely, some comp committees and outside consultants have found that creativity in design has been stifled. With changes to the tax law and proxy advisors broadening their view on pay, it’s the perfect time to consider new metrics to customize executive compensation plans. This one-hour webcast will educate boards on how to create a suitable design for their unique talent, business objectives and strategic goals.

The webcast will include an in-depth discussion featuring Robin Ferracone and William Roskin. Ferracone is the founder and CEO of Farient Advisors and the compensation committee chair at Trupanion. She will discuss how comp committees can dare to be different with creative uses of elements such as performance measures, time horizons and ownership. Roskin is a compensation committee member at Sony Corporation of America, Sony’s U.S. business, and a former director with Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. He will speak to the considerations boards face in the current economic and shareholder environment with executive comp.
