Robin FerraconeRobin is our Founder and Chief Executive Officer. She is the author of the book entitled, “Fair Pay Fair Play: Aligning Executive Performance and Pay” and is a frequent presenter for well-known organizations including Council of Institutional Investors, Society for Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals, the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and The Conference Board, among others. Robin has written extensively on the topics of performance management, incentive plan design, goal setting, and corporate governance. She has been quoted by several business and industry publications including, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post.

Robin currently serves on the Board of Directors of Trupanion, Inc. (NASDAQ:TRUP), where she is Chair of the Compensation Committee. In addition, Robin is on the Board of WildAid, a non-profit organization. She is a member of NACD, Women Corporate Directors, YPO Gold, C200, and the Trusteeship. For eight years, Robin has been named to the NACD Directorship 100, a list of the most influential people in corporate governance and the boardroom.

Former Affiliations

From 2005 to 2007, Robin was President of the Human Capital business of Mercer, which included talent and compensation consulting, software, and data services globally. Previously, she was Chairman of the U.S. West Region for Mercer’s parent company, Marsh & McLennan Companies; market leader and Worldwide Partner at Mercer; and President and Chairman of SCA Consulting, a firm she co-founded and sold to Mercer.

Education

Robin holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School, where she was a Baker Scholar and a BA, summa cum laude, in management science and economics from Duke University, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Known For

Before Dodd-Frank kept board members and CHROs awake at night, Robin was recognized for writing the definitive book on Pay and Performance Alignment. She is known for her encyclopedic/actionable knowledge of executive compensation, performance, and governance. She is a founding partner of the Global Governance and Executive Compensation Group (GECN) which provides seamless “feet on the ground” coverage for clients doing business in more than 30 countries.
