September 20, 2023
Los Angeles, September 20, 2023 – Robin Ferracone, founder and CEO of executive compensation and corporate governance consultancy Farient Advisors, has been named to the annual National Association of Corporate Directors‘ 2023 NACD Directorship 100—the most influential peer-nominated leaders in the boardroom and corporate governance community.
“Every year the NACD honors leaders in corporate governance and on boards with this prestigious recognition, and I’m thrilled to be once again included,” said Ferracone. “I’m proud to be able to contribute to this field as founder and CEO of Farient Advisors, where our team carries out leading-edge research and makes strong recommendations around pay for performance, stakeholder metrics, governance structures, and other crucial issues in executive compensation and governance.”
With more than three decades of experience as a consultant and thought leader, Ferracone is the author of “Fair Pay, Fair Play: Aligning Executive Performance and Pay,” the seminal book on pay-for-performance alignment. She formerly served on the board of directors of Trupanion, Inc., where she was chair of the Compensation Committee, and currently chairs the board of WildAid, a non-profit conservation organization.
In addition, Ferracone is trustee emeritus of Duke University and sits on the Board of 50/50 Women on Boards. She is often featured as an expert source on compensation and governance issues in leading industry and business publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and Agenda. Ferracone is a member of NACD, Women Corporate Directors (WCD), YPO Gold, and the Trusteeship.
