Starbucks’ shareholders voted overwhelmingly to approve new executive compensation plans that would omit diversity and sustainability goals from short-term incentive plans for top leaders. While the global coffee purveyor de-emphasized DEI in its short-term goals, it elevated “talent” in its long-term incentive (LTI) plan.
